Trifecta

Sooo... I went for the piercing.  I got it done yesterday.  The last time I pierced my ears, I was eight, which was quite a while ago.  I was a little nervous, but I didn't remember it hurting last time.  I think this time it hurt a little bit more than it hurt last time, but it wasn't bad.  It feels completely fine now.
At first I was kind of like, "What did I do!?" because I just wasn't used to seeing it on my ear.  But now, I'm really liking it.  I'm actually so glad I did it.
That said, I think I can officially say that this is my last piercing.

Do you have your ears pierced or anything?

YAY! it looks great! i'm glad you like it!
i don't have mine done....i really need to do it, though. i had them pierced once, but i ended up taking them out because i thought they were too girly. now i think i'd like them for the most part. i always look at the earings at stores and wish i could buy them...so i probably should do that.

You know, Zac just got BOTH his ears pierced.
I think that was the final push for me to just go ahead and get the third one done!
But I don't think it's all that girly; more and more boys are doing it. And I suppose it depends on what earrings one wears and such.
I really liked the last HP book. Some people didn't, but I'd say it's one of the ones I liked best. Read it before the film comes out! :D

i agree. it definitely depends on the type of earings you wear. i'll get it done eventually. probably not before i get a job! i'll need to have some cash to BUY all those cute earrings! ^_^
i REALLY need to read all the books again! it's terrible! i don't want to get them from the library but i don't have money to buy them either....i think my neighboor may have them. if she does i'm sure she'll let me borrow them, but i keep forgeting to ask her!

I only actually OWN the last book and Tales of Beedle the Bard; I borrowed the others from friends.
(Don't read Tales of Beedle the Bard before you read Deathly Hallows, incidentally. I was told it wouldn't really be a spoiler, but it kind of was.)
Anyway, I only own those two because I got them super-cheap from a used bookstore. The copy of Tales of Beedle the Bard seemed brand new, the spine still crackled when I opened it. Deathly Hallows was really beat up; my plan is eventually to re-cover it and make it look like something from the Hogwarts library, but I'm kind of scared to do it! Then again, it was super cheap and it's not in great condition anyway.
The thing is, I'm pretty creative/crafty, but I don't really have the time/space/money to be!

i love colecting books. i'm going to have to have at least one room in my house as a library when i move out! and used bookstores and thrift stores are the best place to find them. i think i can probably find a good deal on all the harry potter books online. i have before, but i didn't have the money at the time to get them.
you should definitely try to recover it! it would be awesome! you'll have to put a pic up of how it turns out if you do try to do it! i think it will turn out lovely!

When (if!) I get to all of my crafty sorts of things, then I will certainly post some photos.
A library and pantry space are top priority when I get a home of my own. I like our house, but we definitely don't have enough storage around here. I have books stacked haphazardly every which way. If there were an earthquake (and there have been in the past) my entire room would wind up covered, entirely, in a coat of de-piled books.

haha! i know what you mean! i don't think i have to worry about earthquakes (knock on wood...), but i have more books than i have shelf space too!
